Sonia celebrates a career that spans front line, mid-level, and senior executive roles with a focus in early childhood education and nonprofit leadership. In addition, Sonia is an experienced public speaker and trainer.
 

Sonia specializes in partnering with early childhood organizations in the areas of program assessment, strategic planning, classroom design and management, accreditation planning, professional development, leadership coaching, and compliance issues. Targeted trainings and workshops are available onsite and at field conferences.

A current Department Chair in ECE and adjunct at several colleges, as well as a consultant, Sonia brings over 30 years of experience to the field, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Early Education and Care. Sonia understands that our field is a calling, children have unique gifts and needs, parents are a child's first teachers, and that in addition to positive guidance, diversity, equity, and inclusion are paramount for all children and teachers to thrive in the classroom.
